We work with students from K12 school through graduate school to find the right educational opportunities in the United States. Unlike most traditional educational consulting agencies, we help students achieve their dreams through a comprehensive “Life-Coach” approach that fills their needs in diverse areas—from real estate to health insurance. Based on our assessment of students’ personalities and long-term goals, we ensure that they receive the most suitable personalized guidance, involving one-on-one educational planning and consulting. Until now, we have helped more than 100,000 students with a wide variety of services while they study abroad.
Our K12 program places students primarily in private schools across the United States. We create appropriate and individually tailored development plans that provide our students with opportunities to increase their core competencies and allow them to excel at the educational institution that best meets their needs and aspirations. Enhancement Program
While applying to an American boarding school is a challenging undertaking for both students and their families, we believe that successful admission to an American boarding school requires going beyond developing a compelling and attractive application package, as important as this is. Phemia offers a comprehensive enhancement program for students so that when it comes time to apply to schools, they are well prepared.
Language Improvement
Critical Reading: We offer an English language reading and writing tutorial to supplement the instruction students receive in the classroom.
Writing Presentation: Students’ essays are corrected, edited, and assessed regarding grammar, organization, style, and content and returned to provide feedback to the student.
Oral Communication and Presentation
Oral Communication: Improve the international student’s ability to communicate well with teachers and in class discussions and to articulate his or her thoughts and personal reflections.
Oral Presentation: Students are asked to give an oral presentation on assigned topics and then defend their arguments in a give and take discussion.
Extra-Curricular Activities Involvement
Outside the Classroom: We provide mentoring and assistance in finding the right kind of extracurricular activities that students can participate in, both inside and outside of school and where they can not only explore their interests and develop new skill-sets but also have the opportunity to foster leadership skills.
Summer Program
Program Research and Selection: We search, review, and recommend summer programs based on students’ interests and profiles.
Program Application: We work with students to complete required application forms.
Overall Summer Planning: We establish summer schedules, which involve travel itineraries, summer program attendance and coordination with other planned summer activities.
Intensive Academic Bootcamp
Other Training: Students have an intensive opportunity to improve their critical reading and writing skills, develop and practice their oral presentation skills, obtain an introduction to the SSAT standardized test, review the process of applying to boarding schools.
