Language Instructor
Position: Language Instructor
Location: Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Design curriculum and instructional materials for exams including TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, etc.
- Deliver group or individual online TOEFL or IELTS Test Prep classes to international students, apply teaching methodologies and scaffolding language teaching techniques to improve language test scores and overall English proficiency.
- Assess student progress and educational gain through prepared tests, quizzes and regular assignments.
- Design and develop audio/visual aids as well as other teaching aids to supplement language class demonstration and presentation
- Work with teammates in scheduling and preparing classes; provide feedback and ideas to team regarding class improvement and teaching methods.
- with language test requirements of U.S. universities, provide direct language support to students’ application process to higher educational institutions in the United States.
- Conduct complementary workshops to provide guidance to students on essay writing as well as introduction to the U.S. cultural and academic environment.
- Report class progress, track student attendance, and attend staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in TESOL or English;
- At least 18 months of work experience in same or related role in education consulting company;
- Must have experience includes designing curriculum for TOEFL, IELTS, GRE & GMAT tests, and delivering group or individual online TOEFL or IELTS class to international student
Education Counselor
Position: Education Counselor
Location: Boston, MA
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Gain understanding of application requirements of mathematics related programs in U.S. universities; provide direct support to students’ application process to mathematics programs in the United States;
- Conduct complementary workshops to provide guidance to students on application strategy in general as well as introduction to the U.S. cultural and academic environment;
- Curate individualized plan for students in course selection, enrichment activities and summer programs geared towards mathematics related program studies in the U.S.;
- Provide essay writing and interview preparation counseling to students and prepare them for the mathematical parts of standardized exams, if any;
- Evaluate and compare mathematics related programs by reviewing syllabus and curriculum formulated by the universities; collect feedbacks from previously enrolled students to ensure education quality;
- Oversee and maintain the personal learning plan for each student, prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
- Provide continued educational assistance on schoolwork and assignments after the clients get enrolled in their ideal mathematics related degree programs;
- Assist with other department in creating specialized sales and marketing plans/strategies and promotional materials.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science;
- At least 24 months of work experience in same or related role in education consulting company;
- Must have experience includes coaching students for quantitative reasoning section of GMAT test.
