Education Counselor
Position: Education Counselor
Location: Boston, MA
Salary: $57,678/year
Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
- Research programs in U.S. Universities, assist and provide direct support to students’ application process to programs in the United States;
- Conduct complementary workshops to provide guidance to students on application strategy in general as well as introduction to the U.S. research and academic environment;
- Curate individualized plan for students in course selection, enrichment activities and summer programs geared towards degree program studies of different levels in the U.S.;
- Provide resume drafting, essay writing and interview preparation counseling to students and prepare them for standardized exams, if any;
- Evaluate programs by approving syllabus and workplans formulated by college professors to ensure sufficient engagement, as well as reviewing feedback from already enrolled students to ensure needs are met;
- Oversee and maintain the personal learning plan for each student, prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals;
- Provide continued educational assistance on schoolwork and assignments after the clients get enrolled in their ideal programs;
- Assist with marketing department in creating specialized sales and marketing plans/strategies and promotional materials.
Job Requirement:
- Must have Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership;
- At least 2 months of work experience in same role in company with education consulting service, serving international students;
- Must have experience advising students on application to Master & Ph.D. programs in QS TOP 30 universities, and integrating academic pathway planning with student’s long-term career strategies.
